  • So another MAJOR thank you from me to Dis, for all her tireless and brilliant work as an officer, team leader, recruiter, raid leader, back end administrator, house designer and re-fitter, Halloween weekend organiser, social event organiser and on so many occasions FC agony aunt and a shoulder for so many to cry on. Being her partner, I know exactly how tough a decision this was for her, but her sense of duty as always outweighed her heavy heart and emotion. I don't know a more loyal and determined person and through all the highs...... and lows, she never wavered from her duty to the members first. 12 years a member, 8 years an officer is something to be very proud of so well done my love, you deserve the rest, so go and enjoy it!! 🙂

  • I joined Alith 3 or 4 months ago, as I was hitting lv 15 on this new account of mine. I didn't explain why I dropped my main after 8 years as the reasons are rather depressing, and I was glad no one asked and accepted me anyway. But as I've decided to play to complete the game as I level, rather than just rushing to endgame, it's been quite lonely so far, and I really haven't been able to make any friends yet, as everyone is (rightly) focussed on endgame content. I'm also very shy in nature and the nerdy type, so as I already know what I need to do in-game, I haven't really had a chance of even asking for help with anything yet, which also didn't help with socialising much. In this kind of situation, interactions in FC chat have been really important to me, as they're literally the only thing keeping me company as I craft and level my way to the game's achievements' completion. Clem has been friendly with me since the beginning, chatting casually without ever making me feel left out for not knowing what's going on in the latest patches (which are usually everyone's main topic of conversation), and thus making me feel part of the community even though I'm still unable to really "join-in" as I'm still working through ARR content, and for that I'm really grateful, even more so now that he's become the FC leader, because I think having a caring and easy-going personality like he has will certainly help bringing people together and keeping Alith a warm and welcoming environment for everyone to enjoy. So thank you Clem, for making me feel part of the team even though I'm a quiet member, and for making a big positive difference in the FC with your presence^^

  • As I have a very messed up sleeping schedule, I'm more often active at night or early morning, and Tel has been one of my early morning buddies since I've joined. He's not only been great company, but also a good FC buddy that kept trying to help me fix my computer constant crashes with the game, till it was time for me to contact the company that sold it to me. He's always been asking me if I needed help and spent time trying to figure out what my PC problem was and ways to fix it, both in FC chat and discord, and even though he's got a busy schedule IRL and for that, I'm really grateful to him!
